Dancing In The Rain
Away taken away
by the mundane
happy with the money
walking like zombies.
it rains and rains
yet everyone hides
it rains and rains
but every one hides.
On the way to work
banging my head like the rest
cents per second
check given bi weekly
It rains and it rains
outside where
the vultures feed
the dead quiver
as its pierced by hungry beaks
Here I am looking
out the window looking
and it sits there
waiting, waiting
as I maintain the mundane in me.
But I will flee this day
through the field of vultures
through the rain and dance
once again.
Took the day off to maintain
the change in me.
