My Love Song
runaway
runaway
in the opposite
direction
earth spinning one way
but we go love
the other way
We were in reflection
when
they say
and
they say
too soon
and now
We say
and
We say
No sooner
the better
Our love was meant
to last forever
How can this be
our love twine towers
made to cast a shade
upon the urban-ites
city street lights
and lamp posts
automobiles
and falling snow
we cast our love
over,
over,
over,
Do you see my love
The power of love
shining from within me
and into you
as you fill my heart
and made it bloom
My love
My love
My love
you did this to me
you took my shame away
taking me as I am
my sorrow turned to joy
God shunned His light on you
and I am a reflection
of what you have done
reflection
connection
connection
my soul belongs to God
my heart belongs to you
all that I am
now broken in two
Bread to eat
for you and my Father above
May my love
be food to you
My love
My love
My love
YOu know what I want
and what I need
Money and things cannot buy my soul
but your commitment to me
I was made to serve
He made me for you
My love..
