I remembered when
Child streaming laughter on repeat
playground spots full of tots
and parking lots
snow ball, and ice tunnels
momma and the mystery date
couldn't wait to see her happy..
sigh :/
river tears behind open doors
daddy sportin his caddy
crayons and markers
buildings and ships
architect youth
gunshots and wounds
I remember when....
Fake gold and frogs leaping
teeth as the pencil sharpener
cleaning dishes with my nails
healed a pigeon and saw it fly
out from the porch into the blue sky
16 stories high
transformers and sci-fi
I lied to her.. :)
Kid games till I die..
